Tried out the new Left Bank Pizza slices and thought they were pretty good...the sauce was nice and sweet and the cheese was really good..crispy crust and I'll definitely be back to try more of the pizzas once they get going.

Hadn't been here in awhile. A delivery truck for the Walgreens around the corner had my car trapped, so I decided to have some lunch while I waited. The "Not So Sloppy Joe" was ok, but $7.26 for a to-go sloppy joe with no sides is expensive.

Not the same and I'm afraid not as good. This was my second experience with the post-Pasquesi ownership aside from decades of coming here prior to that.
The buns were cold and it seemed they use a different steaming method in this side steamer box. (It didn't work sufficiently) They also retired the wearing of gloves when handling the food which is hard to believe. No dirty hands on MY buns, yo.
The ordering process was awkward and we had to give our hot dog order twice. Meh. -

The new menu is fantastic. Healthy salad options but I got after the Italian Beef with a vengeance. I hear the reuben is killer. That's next.

This is a pretty great place hidden in Lake Forest. Very casual and nostalgic but still hip. The menu is super simple, but that is part of its charm. I have only had the chili cheese dog, but it is definitely the best chili cheese dog I have ever had.
